Weather

I really loathe discussing the weather. I understand that people do it to have a common thread to discuss. I find it to be the lowest form of conversation and try to not waste energy on it.

Out of politeness i will engage in conversation with strangers but I try not to ever initiate. When the topic of the weather comes up with friends I will quickly change the conversation and tell them outright my reasoning. Which stems from the fact that we can not have a direct impact on the current weather therefore what’s the point of discussing now.

My friend @melwire shared a neat tip earlier this year: if you change the weather on your iPhone every time you travel at the end of the year you have a list of the cities that you visited.
